Mary Margaret turned 4 months last Tuesday the 16th. We were very excited and a little sad too that our baby girl is growing up so fast. She had a really bad cold so she was not completely all into celebrating. She is just now getting over it. We tried feeding her cereal from a spoon that night and she did not like it. We tried the next couple of nights again, but she gets more of it on her than in her mouth. I thought she just may not like the cereal, although I've been putting in her bottle for months, so we switched to sweet peas. Nope, not having any of that either. We are now working on sweet potatoes. She is starting to like them somewhat. I read in my Parenting magazine that it can take up to 15 times for a child to accept a new food and most parents give up before that. I did not want to start her out on fruits, because if she is anything like her Daddy, she will have the biggest sweet tooth and not ever want veggies. I am also posting some video of her eating. It is pretty funny.
Saturday, we stayed at home and watched the Hogs get clobbered! Well, us girls took a nap in the middle of it! Sunday we went to Conway to visit with the Hester clan! We put on this cute outfit her Great Aunt Nancy gave her. We were not really sure where she was going to wear it, so we decided she better put it on before she outgrew it. It was also her first time wearing shoes. She continually kicked her right one off!!
Drooling Peas!
Is it time for the bottle yet??
