First Year Down...

Well MM is 13 months old now. I just really cannot believe it. This year has flown by so quickly. It stills feels like yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital, clueless about what comes next. Now she is such a big girl and becoming more independent. We are completely on table foods now and whole milk. We still give her morning and night milk in a bottle. I know, we are bad. She just loves it! Her favorite foods are cheese and green beans. So far atleast. She will try just about anything. She is having pretty bad separation anxiety when we are in crowded places. She has been doing this for about a month. She will only let me hold her, screams if I try to leave the room. It is pretty exhausting at times. We starting semi-walking within the last few weeks. She has been walking back and forth to Chris and I but would not let go of something to walk. But sure enough, Monday, she did! She let go of the couch and walked to Chris. Yesterday at school her daycare teacher said she did some walking too! She is getting better and better eveyday. I will have to take some video soon. Her 12 month check-up went good. If you can consider getting 4 shots and blood work good! She is finally over her sinusitis thank goodness. Here are her stats from the checkup:

WEIGHT: 23.25 lbs (75%)
LENGTH: 29 inches (50%)
HEAD: 17.5 inches (25%)

We are just so blessed that she came into our lives. She is our joy. I really don't know what we did before her! Every single day she cracks me up. And I still go into her room everynight, usually a couple of times, to make sure she is breathing and ok. We just love her to pieces and can't wait to see what this next year brings!

Happy Girl!

Doing a little practicing with Aunt Andrea!

Isn't this funny??? It is a holder you but cigars in that Chris' Dad
