Mary Margaret: Busy Little Bee!!

We had another busy weekend. Saturday afternoon, we went to visit Mary Margaret's Great Grandpa. He had his one of kidneys removed today because of cancer. It has not spread, he is out of surgery and all is expected to be well. We wanted to have dinner with him because we knew if would be a little while before he felt up to having some company. My Aunt Judy also came in town from Orlando so it was nice visiting with her.
Sunday we went to Conway for a going away party for Chris' sister Brianne. She is going back to Europe to teach. We will miss her!!! To explain the picture of MM in a beret, her Great Aunt Robbie brought her back the cutest sweater dress and leggings from France. The outfit included the beret.
MM is almost 8 months old. I just can't believe it. We have started eating 7 ounce bottles this morning. Ever since she moved up to the caterpillar class from the little deers in daycare, she has stopped eating one of her bottles. We are down to four now. So we figured we should go up in ounces to make up for it. I guess she is too busy flirting with her new boyfriend Riley to eat! She is still eating Stage 2 foods. A fruit for breakfast and a veggie/meat for dinner. She is still rolling like crazy and has two teeth trying to come in, but not up all the way yet. She flips everywhere in her crib at night which drives her Daddy crazy! She sleeps from about 7 or 7:30 pm until 6 or 6:30 am. How lucky are we, right? I wish sometimes wish she would stay up a little longer so I could spend more time with her. But she likes her sleep like her Momma! She has started making some really funny noises. She has started to do a kissing noise and a pig snort, which I cannot figure out how she is doing it because she makes it with her mouth closed.
I guess that is all that is going on for now. I am sure there will be something new very soon. Babies change more and more every day!
